It is our privilege to cordially invite you all, on behalf of Optical Society of India (OSI), to the International Conference on Optics and Optoelectronics (ICOL-2019) to be held during October 19-22, 2019 at Instruments R & D Establishment, Dehradun, India.
ICOL is a XLIII symposium in the annual series of the symposiums among the OSI Members. The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for interaction among scientists, researchers, academicians and students worldwide. The focal theme of this conference is “Trends in Electro-optics Instrumentation for Strategic Applications”.
The technical program of the conference would include keynote, plenary and invited lectures by renowned researchers from all over the world. A number of oral and poster presentations would also be included in the technical program.
The program of the ICOL- 2019 will cover the areas namely; Optical Engineering, Optical Thin Films, Optical Materials, IR Sensors, Image Processing & Systems, Photonic Band Gap Materials, Adaptive Optics, Optical Image Processing & Holography, Lasers, Fiber Lasers & its Applications, Diffractive Optics, Innovative packaging of Optical Systems, Nanophotonics Devices and Applications, Optical Interferometry & Metrology, Terahertz, Millimeter Wave & Microwave Photonics, Fiber, Integrated & Nonlinear Optics, and Optics and Electro-optics for Strategic Applications.
It is sincerely believed that the scientists and students actively engaged in Optics and Electro-optics Instrumentation would be greatly benefitted by participating in the conference and gain deeper academic insights.
Nested in the mountain ranges of the Himalayas, Dehradun is one of the oldest cities of India and it is the capital of Uttarakhand. It is favored tourist destination as it attracts tourists, pilgrims and nature enthusiasts from various walks of life to its serene environs.
Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE) Dehradun, a premier DRDO establishment working in the field of Electro-optics and it is devoted to research, design, development and technology transfer in optical and electro-optical instrumentation primarily for the Defence Services.
The Organizers of the ICOL-2019 truly believes that it will be a great opportunity for the participants to gain not only the academic insights but also the diverse Indian culture and life styles that will be eventually broadened to other cultures by the participants coming from all over the world.
